Queen Máxima of the Netherlands was typically chic in an olive green gown and statement headpiece as she and her family attended King's Day celebrations today.
The QueenMá Dutch royal family were out in full force for the annual festival, which marks the birthday of King Willem-Alexander, this year heading to the town of Emmen in the north east.
The king and queen were joined by their three daughters - Princess Ariane, 17, Princess Amalia, 20, and 18-year-old Princess Alexia, all of whom were in shades of green, blue and orange.
The family walked a route through the town, collecting gifts of flowers and greeting onlookers who had gathered to wish the royal family well on King's Day.

The queen also wore a pair of pearl drop earrings, and kept her make-up simple.
Her three daughters were equally as chic, with the eldest, and the heir to the Dutch throne, also opting to wear green. Amalia went for a teal hue, also with a floral pattern.
She wore a matching overcoat to brace from the chilly weather, and kept her blonde hair loosely curled and down around her shoulders.
Her sister Alexia wore a white dress with a deep orange overcoat, while the youngest sibling, Ariane, wore a three-piece suit in a similar rust colour.
King Willem-Alexander also dressed to impress in a deep blue suit and yellow tie.

The royals received a rousing welcome from the primary school pupils - and they seemed particularly excited to see Máxima who high-fived them in their classrooms.
The mother-of-three was also pictured seated at lunch tables with students as they dined on sandwiches, fruit and water in the school canteen.
Elsewhere the King and Queen stepped outdoors to observe what appeared to be an exciting game of friendly football.
For the event, the Argentine-born royal donned a pair of chocolate brown high-waist culottes, which served to accentuate her shapely figure.
Maxima paired the look with a grey high neck jumper and brown leather boots, while for the outdoors she opted for a long grey overcoat.

A pair of silver metal earrings made for the perfect accessory, although on this occasion she chose to forego a handbag.
For her hair, the royal's luscious blonde locks were tied downwards and decorated only with a middle part.
Her make-up was equally subtle and striking, with a streak of black eyeliner and a rose pink lip to top off the look.
Meanwhile her husband, the King, looked dapper in a royal blue suit which he wore with a white crisp shirt and an orange tie.
His outfit was a bold statement of national pride as it represented the Netherlands' flag colours, while also being synonymous with King's Day.
