Another suspect charged in 2023 quadruple homicide in northern Mississippi
TUNICA, Miss. (AP) — A second suspect has been charged in a quadruple homicide that occurred in northern Mississippi last year, authorities announced.
Anthony Carter Jr., 20, of Tunica, Mississippi, has been charged in the November 2023 shooting and car crash deaths, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Killed were a man, a woman and her unborn child, and another person who died after the bullet-ridden car crashed in Robinsonville, Mississippi, authorities said. Carter faces four counts of capital murder, among other charges.
The victims were found in the vehicle, which was burned and had bullet holes, WREG-TV reported.
Authorities had earlier charged Deonte Taylor, 18, with murder in the 2023 case. He and Carter are both being held in the Tunica County Jail. It was not immediately clear whether Carter has an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
